As a task, Mr Welch has given us a playlist of music videos to analyse and how they represent things: 1. All Caps by MF DOOM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSJeHDlhYls In this video the style of a 1950s golden age pop art comic is used to pay tribute to the comics such as Marvel and DC who inspired DOOM in his childhood to create music and adopt his stage persona: That of a stereotypical comic book villain, DOOM himself is represented in the video as a hulking scientific mutant - a prototypical character archetype of the day inspired by characters like the Hulk or The Thing The song and video complement the "virtual band" esque aesthetic of DOOM - maintaining the illusion that he is this fantasy character presented to us in the video 2.
